The Atlanta Vibe (15-8) extended their red-hot streak Tuesday night, securing a nail-biting five-set victory over the San Diego Mojo (7-14) at Viejas Arena. With the win, Atlanta ties the record for the longest win streak in the 2025 Pro Volleyball Federation season at nine consecutive matches.
The Vibe’s offense was firing on all cylinders, with four standout players reaching double digits in kills, each hitting above .200. Outside hitter Leah Edmond led the charge with 17 kills, showcasing her consistency and power. She was closely followed by opposite hitter Merritt Beason (16 kills), outside hitter Micaya White (15), and middle blocker Khori Louis, who tallied 10 kills in the middle.
Defensively, Atlanta delivered a gritty performance, recording 89 total digs as a team. Libero Morgan Hentz anchored the backcourt with a team-high 21 digs, while setter Marlie Monserez (12 digs), Edmond (16), and White (14) each played key roles in extending rallies and keeping the Mojo attack at bay.
With momentum clearly on their side, the Vibe will look to break the season win streak record as they face the Orlando Valkyries on Saturday, April 12 at Addition Financial Arena. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
Atlanta is heating up at the right time — and they’re proving they’re a force to be reckoned with down the stretch.
