You’re headed to the city of hustle and flow to get down with some of the fiercest females around. We’re talking about the Atlanta Vibe and their Women’s History Month matchup, where these volleyball ballers will be celebrating their sisterhood and honoring the ATL trailblazers who paved the way. As the home team hits the court to take on the visiting Vegas Thrill, you just know sparks are gonna fly. So grab your signs and face paint and get ready to make some noise, because this Saturday is all about girl power!
The honorees in attendance for the Vibe’s Women in Sports + Business Night include:
Kimberly Beaudin : As the President and CEO of the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame, Beaudin is credited with reshaping the Atlanta attraction by evolving its business
model from a traditional sports property to a nonprofit membership model.
Sheretha Bell: Bell is the Vice President of Brand at the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) and Discover Atlanta, where she spearheads the brand marketing strategy
for a destination marketing organization (DMO), promoting destinations/tradeshows, attracting visitors, helping in boosting the local economy, and driving visitors’ growth and spending in Atlanta.
Alexis Belton: As a professional golfer, Belton competed on the Women’s Australia Tour, LPGA Epson Tour and the World Long Drive Tour. She found a home as a color commentator on the World Long Drive Tour and founded Belton Drive, an organization dedicated to using the game of golf to bring people together across cultures and bridge divides.
Traci Bransford : Bransford, a partner at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP, leads the Sports & Entertainment Industry team in the firm’s Atlanta office. Entertainment, media, and sports clients turn to Bransford for strategic counsel on the full range of their legal needs. She focuses her practice on transactional law with an emphasis on clients in music, television, film, literary publishing, and sports.
Brooklyn Del Barba: Del Barba is the Client Services Manager at Atlanta Motor Speedway, a world-class NASCAR racetrack and multipurpose facility south of Atlanta. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Del Barba graduated in 2018 with a degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism.
Shon Gables: Emmy-award nominated broadcast journalist Shon Gables can be found weekday evenings on Atlanta News First. She is a recipient of several National Association
of Black Journalists awards and a Lee Evans Outstanding Journalist Award, along with a National Black Achiever in Industry Award and an American Women in Radio and Television’s Gracie Award.
Coach Tishay Lewis: Coach of the Year Lewis led her Sandy Creek High School varsity volleyball team to the Georgia State Championship in 2023 – making her the second-ever Black
female volleyball coach to win a State Championship across all classifications.
Tracy Lloyd: With over 20 years of experience leading and innovating in high-tempo environments, Tracey Lloyd stands as a co-founder of The Ascendax, a forward-thinking technology company specializing in smart city solutions, broadband connectivity, biometrics, cybersecurity, and more. Leveraging her background as a US Army veteran, a West Point graduate, and a seasoned corporate executive, Tracey drives profit, performance,
and transformative change within the tech industry.
Morgan Shaw Parker: Shaw Parker currently serves as President and CEO of the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream. She brought 27 years of experience and values-driven leadership at all levels of the sports industry to the team and has developed a proven track record in sport business, marketing innovation, and building high-performing teams across the NFL, NBA/WNBA, and NCAA as well as media, corporate brands and sports agencies.
Deon Tucker: Tucker is the Metro North Regional Director for Georgia Power, where she leads the company’s external affairs activities for DeKalb, North Fulton, Gwinnett,
North Forsyth and Rockdale counties.
Vanessa Vossler: Vossler is the Director of Fitness for Honors Holdings LLC, the largest franchisee of Orangetheory Fitness (OTF). She has been with Orangetheory Fitness
for a decade, starting as a coach and later becoming a regional editor and director of coaching. She also helped launch the Lift 45 program, a class style specifically focused on weightlifting, has worked as a template designer for OTF corporate, and trained over 400 coaches in seven regions.
