The Atlanta Hawks have signed guard Kevon Harris to a 10-day contract, the team announced today. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Harris has been a standout performer for the College Park Skyhawks this season, appearing in 35 games (all starts) while averaging career highs of 19.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists, along with 1.3 steals in 31.0 minutes per game. The 6-foot-6 guard has showcased impressive efficiency, shooting 45.8% from the field, 44.2% from three-point range, and 80.0% from the free-throw line. His stellar play earned him the 2025 NBA G League Up Next Game MVP at NBA All-Star Weekend in San Francisco, where he scored 13 points in the championship game.
Harris previously suited up for the Hawks during the 2024 preseason, appearing in two games and averaging 11.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steal in 17.5 minutes per contest. He also brings NBA experience to the roster, having played in 36 games over two seasons with the Orlando Magic (2022-24), where he posted averages of 4.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per game, while shooting 44.5% from the field and 37.2% from beyond the arc.
A native of Ellenwood, Georgia, Harris has built an impressive résumé in the NBA G League, with career averages of 16.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.2 steals in 124 games (105 starts). His G League journey includes time with the Skyhawks (2024-25), Osceola Magic (2023-24), Lakeland Magic (2022-23), and Raptors 905 (2020-22).
At the collegiate level, Harris was a standout at Stephen F. Austin from 2016-20, where he played in 127 games (104 starts) and averaged 14.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. In his senior year, he was named the 2019-20 Southland Conference Player of the Year, further cementing his status as one of the top players in program history.
Harris now has an opportunity to make an impact with the Hawks as they continue their push through the season.
