Hawks Collapse By 1 to Nets

On Wednesday the Atlanta Hawks fell to the Nets 107-108 in the final minutes at State Farm Arena.

 

The Hawks had six players score 10+ for the 15th time this season: Dejounte Murray led the team in scoring after recording a team-high 24 points, nine assists, eight rebounds and one steal in 40 minutes of action, marking his second game of the year with those minimums.

John Collins collected 21 points on 8-16 shooting , eight rebounds, one assist and one block in 34 minutes. Onyeka Okongwu poured in 18 points, Jalen Johnson tied his career-high with 14 points on 6-12 shooting, adding six boards and one block, marking his fourth career game of 10+ points and 5+ rebounds, Bogdan Bogdanovic added 14 points, and Aaron Holiday rounded off the scoring efforts with his sixth double-digit scoring with 10 points, three rebounds, three assists, and one steal in his third start of the season.

Atlanta scored 60+ points in the paint for the ninth time this year, outscoring Brooklyn 60-50 … The Hawks also held advantages in fast break points (14-9), points off of turnovers (18-7), and bench points (30-20).

The Hawks return to State Farm Arena to face Lebron and the Lakers on Friday. Tip off is at 7:30.
