‘I want to say that I’m truly sorry to all of the women that I have impacted in this situation,’ Watson said before the preseason Cleveland Browns matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The apology comes amid alleged sexual misconduct. In March 2021, a woman filed a lawsuit accusing Watson of sexually harassing her during a massage therapy session. Twenty-two more women followed with accusing Watson of similar misconduct. One lawsuit was dropped after a judge required the women to disclose their names. However two more suits were filed this summer.
Watson returned to the field to loud boos from fans at the TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville on Friday.
Watson is currently suspended for six regular-season games.
