“Not the outcome we wanted but we had a lot of positives tonight. There’s a lot that I could say about the girls and their effort. We just gotta have short-term memory and get back to Atlanta and focus on our New York series right now. Really proud of the girls’ effort, how hard they played and the good things that we did do.” said head coach Tanisha Wright.
It ain’t over: Atlanta has two games left and the odds of making it pass the regular season is high. Atlanta is currently number 5 in the Eastern Conference. The Liberty and Dream are among the four teams competing for the final two postseason spots.
