The Dream’s record improves to 22-29 overall against the Liberty and 11-15 when playing in New York. With the win, Atlanta overcame its 2021 win total in just 20 games.
The Dream returned to home court and extended their winning streak to two when the team defeated Seattle 90-76 on Sunday in front of a sold out crowd at Gateway Center Arena.

In the first quarter Atlanta had good ball movement. The Dream scored 32 points, the most the team has scored in any opening frame this season and Atlanta’s second-highest-scoring quarter of the year.

Atlanta handed the Storm their largest loss of the season so far with a 24-point point differential.

The Dream had five players score in double digits. Cheyenne Parker led the team in scoring 21, rookie sensation Rhyne Howard collected 16, Aari McDonald and AD each added 13, while Tiffany Hayes rounded off the scoring efforts with 10 points.
“Just a gutsy win for us, especially being back home. I think a good momentum win having won on the road. It was a tough win for us to be able to get this dub here. said Head Coach Tanisha Wright. I think it was big for our momentum as we move on to Washington.”
