Hawks taken down by Timberwolves, Snag Seven-Game Losing Streak

Atlanta Hawks gain seventh straight loss on Monday, falling to the Minnesota Timberwolves 125-113 at State Farm Arena.

Trae Young led the team in scoring 37 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds. It is his eighth game with 30 or more points. It was another career milestone for Young.

Young is now tied with Pete Maravich for the fourth-most 30-point contests by a Hawks player in his second season.

Jabari Parker finished with 22 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Parker notched his 4,000th career point (4,011 total), has swiped at least one steal in seven consecutive games, and has recorded at least two steals in nine of 17 games this season.

Despite playing his fourth game back to back (with the College Park Skyhawks on Sunday), Bruno Fernando impressively scored a career-high 13 points.

Hawks are heading on the road for a 3-game road trip trip (Bucks on Wednesday, Pacers on Friday and Rockets on Saturday).

The Hawks now (4-13) will return home to face the Golden State Warriors at State Farm Arena on Dec. 2, 2019. Tip off is at 7:30 pm.
