Coach Nicki Collen on the overall results, “We won three of the four quarters today. If you eliminate one bad quarter, I thought we played really good basketball. I thought the first half was really good offensive basketball by us. The ball had a lot of energy, we moved the ball, we made some open shots, we got second shots. Mo (Monique Billings) played with a lot of energy and got us multiple offensive rebounds, and even though they didn’t all result in lay ups or put backs, they got us extra possessions. When you play with energy and get extra possessions—even if you don’t score—it just kind of keeps everyone engaged.”
