ESPN Reports: The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office has declined to file felony charges against Sean “Diddy” Combs for a confrontation last month at the University of California, Los Angeles, where his son plays football. Combs was arrested June 22 at UCLA’s athletic facilities for an alleged assault in which police say he wielded a piece of weight-room equipment. The hip-hop mogul says he was defending himself and his son. “The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate,” a representatives for Combs Enterprises company, said in a June 24 statement. “What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son.”
