ATLANTA’S OWN GUCCI MANE TO PERFORM AT HALFTIME OF HAWKS‘ OPENING NIGHT

The Atlanta Hawks have announced that GRAMMY Award®-nominated rapper Gucci Mane, a native of Atlanta, will perform during the halftime show at the team’s Opening Night, presented by State Farm. The Hawks will face the Brooklyn Nets later this month to kick off the 2024-25 regular season. Fans attending the game will receive a special red Caa-CaAaW Opening Night t-shirt, courtesy of State Farm, and tickets can still be secured at Hawks.com/tickets before they sell out.

Gucci Mane, widely recognized as one of the most influential rappers of the last decade, holds the record for the most Top 10 albums on Billboard’s “Top Rap Albums” chart. On the upcoming performance, Gucci Mane expressed his excitement, stating, “The energy is always electric at State Farm Arena, and I am sure to put on a performance that will be incredibly memorable for all Hawks’ fans.”

Leading up to the event, approximately 2,000 t-shirts will be delivered to 20 local nonprofit organizations across the metro Atlanta area. Fans receiving the t-shirts will be encouraged to share videos showing their excitement and support for the team.

In addition, Steve Holman, the legendary “Voice of the Hawks,” will celebrate his 3,000th consecutive game broadcast on Opening Night. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a special ‘3K Voice of the Hawks’ pin in honor of this milestone. Holman’s broadcasts can be heard on SportsRadio 92-9 The Game, the Hawks’ official radio network.

Steve Koonin, CEO of the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena, expressed excitement for the season, stating, “As we tip off the 2024-25 season by teaming up with State Farm, we are excited for success on and off the court as we remain True to Atlanta.”
