Falcons Re-Sign Center Ryan Neuzil to Two-Year Contract

The Atlanta Falcons have secured depth along their offensive line by re-signing center Ryan Neuzil to a two-year contract, the team announced.

Neuzil’s Journey with the Falcons

Originally signed as an undrafted free agent out of Appalachian State following the 2021 NFL Draft, Neuzil has developed into a reliable interior lineman for Atlanta. Over his four seasons with the team, he has appeared in 43 games, including 12 starts.

The 6-foot-3, 305-pound lineman saw his most significant action in 2024, playing in all 17 games and making eight starts. His versatility and steady presence helped bolster an offensive line that has been in flux in recent years.

College Success at Appalachian State

Before joining the Falcons, Neuzil was a standout at Appalachian State, where he started 44 consecutive games to close out his collegiate career. He earned first-team All-Sun Belt honors twice (2019, 2020) and was a key piece of one of the nation’s most efficient offensive lines.

During his time with the Mountaineers, App State ranked:

  • Top 22 in rushing yards per gameevery season (peaking at 7th in 2020)

  • Top 40 in fewest sacks allowed per game (including 2nd in 2017)

What This Means for the Falcons

Neuzil’s re-signing provides experienced depth at center and guard, ensuring stability for an offensive line that will be crucial in protecting the quarterback and establishing the run game. With his familiarity with the system and proven durability, he is expected to compete for a starting role or serve as a valuable backup.

The Bradenton, Florida, native has steadily improved since entering the league, and this new deal reflects the Falcons’ confidence in his continued growth.
