The Atlanta Hawks continued their strong play in March, defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 132-123 on Monday night.
The win marked Atlanta’s third consecutive victory over Philadelphia and improved their record in March to 4-1, with previous wins against the Memphis Grizzlies (3/3) and Indiana Pacers (3/6, 3/8).
Offensive Efficiency and Ball Movement Key to Success
The Hawks showcased their offensive firepower, averaging 125.8 points on .512 shooting from the field through five games this month. Their passing game was once again elite, recording 34 assists—Atlanta’s Eastern Conference-leading 32nd game of the season with 30 or more assists. The Hawks continue to lead the East in assists per game (29.4), ranking second in the NBA overall.
Dominance in the Paint and on the Boards
Atlanta exploited the 76ers’ interior defense, outscoring them 76-46 in points in the paint. It was the seventh time this season the Hawks have scored 70+ points in the paint, reinforcing their league-leading average of 55.4 points in the paint per game.
The Hawks also controlled the offensive glass, pulling down 14 offensive rebounds, which led to 15 second-chance points. This marked the 45th time this season Atlanta has recorded double-digit offensive rebounds, ranking third in the East in that category (11.9 per game).
Balanced Scoring Effort
Six Hawks finished in double figures, marking the 30th time this season at least six players scored 10 or more points in a game:
• Dyson Daniels: 25 points (10-14 FG, 1-2 3FG), nine assists, six rebounds, two steals
• Zaccharie Risacher: 22 points (9-16 FG), eight rebounds, two assists
• Terance Mann: Season-high 19 points (9-13 FG), six rebounds, four assists

Standout Performances
• Dyson Daniels extended his impressive defensive streak, recording his league-leading 45th game with two or more steals. He has now swiped at least one steal in 36 straight games, tied for the fifth-longest such streak in Hawks franchise history. Daniels also posted his ninth 20-point game of the season, leading the Hawks with 25 points while dishing out a team-high nine assists.

Philadelphia’s Standout Efforts Not Enough

He also grabbed seven rebounds and added five assists, a block, and a game-high three steals. Jared Butler chipped in 11 points, tying his season-high with three made triples, along with six assists.
Looking Ahead
Riding a wave of momentum, the Hawks will look to extend their winning streak as they take on the Charlotte Hornets tonight. With their high-paced offense, elite ball movement, and dominance in the paint, Atlanta remains a formidable challenge for any opponent as they aim to continue their strong run this month.
