The Atlanta Hawks announced today that the team has requested waivers on guard/forward Seth Lundy.
Lundy, the 46th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, appeared in nine games for the Hawks during the 2023-24 season. He also played 25 games (23 starts) for the College Park Skyhawks, the Hawks’ NBA G League affiliate. With the Skyhawks, Lundy showcased his versatility, averaging 20.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.2 blocks in 32.6 minutes per game. He shot an impressive 46.2% from the field, 40.0% from beyond the arc, and 80.3% from the free-throw line.
After spending his rookie season on a two-way contract, Lundy re-signed with the Hawks on another two-way deal on July 9, 2024.
The Hawks’ decision to waive Lundy reflects their ongoing effort to adjust the roster as they prepare for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
