The Atlanta Hawks have announced that award-winning R&B singer-songwriter Keith Sweat will perform at halftime during their game on Wednesday, November 6, against the New York Knicks. The performance, presented by Jack Daniels and fueled by Georgia Natural Gas, will take place at State Farm Arena. With nearly three decades in the music industry, Sweat continues to engage fans with his timeless music, showcasing his talents and passion. Tickets for the game can be secured at Hawks.com/Tickets.
“I’m incredibly excited to be performing for the Atlanta Hawks for the very first time,” said Keith Sweat. “It’s such an honor to perform for the amazing fans of an amazing city, and I can’t wait to make it last forever together!”
In addition to his legendary music career, Sweat hosts the nationally syndicated radio show “The Sweat Hotel,” where he captivates listeners with smooth R&B hits and slow jams, broadcasting live from Atlanta. He first rose to prominence in 1987 with his debut album Make It Last Forever, which achieved triple platinum status and included the chart-topping single “I Want Her.” Sweat has since topped the Billboard charts with hits like “Twisted” and “Nobody,” and has earned several prestigious accolades, including an American Music Award and a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2013 Soul Train Awards.
Beyond his own music career, Sweat has also played a key role as a producer, helping launch the careers of prominent R&B acts such as Silk and LSG. His influence reaches beyond music, with ventures into television, including his reality show Keith Sweat’s Platinum House, and philanthropic efforts.
This performance follows the Hawks’ tradition of featuring high-profile artists at State Farm Arena. As part of Opening Night, Gucci Mane headlined the halftime show, and last season saw performances by artists like Da Brat, CeeLo Green, Killer Mike, Lunay, T.I., and more.
In September, the Hawks unveiled their highly anticipated promotional schedule for the 2024-25 NBA season, promising fans an exciting lineup of giveaways, theme nights, and special ticket offers. Fans looking to enjoy these special experiences can visit Hawks.com/Promotions for more information.
