Vibe Seek Revenge Against Fury in Rematch Tonight

You remember the heartbreak from Sunday (March 24), when the Columbus Fury snapped the Vibe’s five-game streak. But tonight, Atlanta  have a chance to avenge that loss on our home court. The squad is fired up and ready to battle for all four sets this time. With the Mojo coming to town on Saturday, we need this win to keep pace in the division race. Marlie and the crew have been training hard to correct Sunday’s blocking and digging issues.

While the Vibe offense searches for answers, the defense will need to make some changes of their own to slow down the Fury attack. Middle blockers Kayla Lund and Lauren Carlini were ineffective in containing the Fury’s Nikoleta Perović on Sunday, as she racked up 22 kills. The Vibe will have to find a way to neutralize Perović and force the Fury offense out of system if they want to avoid dropping two straight at home.

With reinforcements on both sides of the net, tonight’s rematch promises to be an offensive showcase. The Fury will look to build on their four-set win over the Vibe on Sunday by unleashing their new weapons. Meanwhile, the Vibe will be hungry to avenge the loss on their home court, especially after the Fury spoiled their five-match winning streak. Fans at the Gas South Arena should be in for a treat, with two loaded rosters going head-to-head in what’s sure to be a high-scoring affair.

If setter Marlie Monserez can distribute the ball effectively and the hitters can convert, the Vibe should be able to regain their offensive rhythm.

Let’s pack Gas South Arena and cheer on our Vibe tonight as they look to get back in the win column. Now go grab your face paint and get ready to bring the energy.
