Atlanta’s win against Chicago on Friday (8/18) not only boosted the Dream back to .500 but also served as a regular season sweep against the Sky. The 4-0 sweep is the Dream’s first sweep of the Sky in franchise history, delivering payback to a Chicago team that swept Atlanta in three games during the 2022 season. In the victory, the Dream set a season-record of only six turnovers, with the assist to turnover ratio between the Dream’s main ball handlers of Danielle Robinson, Haley Jones and Aari McDonald being 17:1.
The Atlanta Dream (16-17) will take on the Los Angeles Sparks (14-18) at Gateway Center Arena this Friday, August 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
