The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Atlanta Hawks 136-131 in OT without all 5 key guys in the final regular season home game on Friday night.
Despite the loss, the Hawks clinched the No. 8 spot in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament with Toronto’s 121-102 loss to Boston.
The contest marked the Hawks’ 38th sellout of the 2022-23 season, the most sellouts in a single season in franchise history.
The Hawks recorded back-to-back games of 30+ assists and 10+ steals for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
Atlanta had seven double-digit scorers for the 16th time this season.
Trae Young led the team in scoring 27 points and set a career high 20 assists, Dejounte Murray (19), John Collins (19), Saddiq Bey (15), De’Andre Hunter (14), Clint Capela (12), and Onyeka Okongwu (10).

Pregame
The Hawks awarded center Clint Capela the 2022-23 Sekou Smith Award, which annually honors the player on the team’s roster who best represents themselves and the franchise with professionalism and integrity in their interactions with the media.
Capela was selected via vote from a select local media panel.
