The College Park Skyhawks (2-5) fell at home against the Capital City Go-Go (7-2), 111-104, at the Gateway Center Arena on Monday night.
The game featured 16 ties and 15 lead changes, with no lead growing larger than 12 throughout (Skyhawks, 86-74). Tyrese Martin led the Skyhawks in points and rebounds with 23 points and 10 boards. It was his third game of the season with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds. Brandon Williams also recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 19 points and 10 assists.
The Skyhawks will set out on a four-game road trip to Windy City (Jan. 19 – 8 p.m. ET), Fort Wayne (Jan. 22 – 3 p.m. ET), and Cleveland (Jan. 24 – 6 p.m. ET and Jan. 25 – 7 p.m. ET). The Skyhawks will then return to College Park for a two-game set against the Motor City Cruise on Jan. 27 and 29. The first game will tip-off at 7 p.m. ET, with the rematch set for 3 p.m. ET.
