Devastating End Of Season Loss for Atlanta United

In front of 43,312 fans Atlanta United fell 2-1 to New York City FC on Sunday afternoon at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the final match of the 2022 regular season.

“Well, obviously, not a good season because we didn’t at least make playoffs, which for me should be a must for our franchise because our standard’s higher than just making playoffs. That’s for sure, so in that sense, it wasn’t a good year for us and for me personally as a coach.”said Pineda on how he would categorize this season for himself and for the team.
