In what some expected was going to be a blockbuster trade involving Big man John Collins on Thursday night’s NBA draft night that would have sent him to San Antonio for All-Star Dejounte Murray, but that never came to fruition. Collins remains a Hawk.
Fields spoke at the post-draft press conference, and insisted the Hawks are “excited” about Collins’ future in Atlanta.
Some are speculating that Collins days in Atlanta are numbered. The question is what uniform with Collins wear next season?
