The Dream had five players score in double digits. Kristy Wallace led Atlanta in scoring a season-high 17 points. Erica Wheeler added 16 points, while both Rhyne Howard and Cheyenne Parker each scored 12 points a piece. Parker recorded her second double-double of the season with 10 rebounds. Howard recorded a season-high 6 assists.
“Happy with our performance. I think our ‘bounce back’ mentality, we talk about this a lot. We talk about responding. We didn’t have a great game the last session out in Washington, but I thought we did a really good job of our ‘next play’ mentality, ‘next game mentality, bouncing back and executing the things that we ask to get better at.” said Head Coach Tanisha Wright.
Atlanta record against Phoenix improves to 10-24 all-time and 8-10 when playing in Atlanta.
Up Next: The Dream will host the Minnesota Lynx Wednesday June 1. at Gateway Center Arena. Tip off is at 7:00 PM
