Atlanta United draws 2-2 against New England Revolution

On Sunday afternoon, in front of 42,516 fans at Mercedes-Benz Stadium Atlanta United played New England Revolution to a 2-2 draw.

Thiago Almada and Luiz AraĆŗjoĀ each scored for the second straight match.

AlmadaĀ netted the game’s first goal in the 15th minute.

In the 63rd minute, the Brazilian midfielder Ā Luiz AraĆŗjo landed the ball in theĀ corner of the net.

In the end Atlanta was unable to crack the tie in the last final minutes of the match.

ā€œThe momentum and environment was really good, but we couldn’t capitalized on those moments where we were dominant in the game.ā€ said Atlanta United Head Coach Gonzalo Pineda.
