After experiencing a devasting 7-1 defeat on Wednesday against the Everglades, the Glads returned to home ice in the 10th of 11th meetings between Atlanta and Jacksonville this season. Atlanta was on the prowl and in search of a win in the final home weekend of the regular season against the third place Icemen at Gas South Arena.

In the opening minutes Jacksonville Sam Strencshein scored the first goal assisted by Brendan Harris.
Midway through the first period Icemen netted a Powerplay goal scored by Abbott Girduckis, assisted by Jacob Panetta, and Brendan Harris. Late in the first period Icemen Craig Martin scored a shorthanded goal.
At the intermission the Glads was scoreless while the Icemen led by 3.

In the second period, Glads Eric Neely finally scored a goal assisted by Hugo Roy.
At the end of the second period the Gladiators trailed the Icemen 3-1.

In the final minutes of the closing period, Icemen Sean Giles scored a empty netter and Jacksonville skated away with a 4-1 victory.

Next up: The Glads will return to home ice to face the Icemen again at Gas South Arena on Saturday. The puck drops at 7:30 PM.
