The College Park Skyhawks Etched Their Place In History

The College Park Skyhawks etched their place in history with a 123-117 victory over the Windy City Bulls on Friday. They captured their seventh straight win of the season. It is the longest in the league currently and in franchise history.

Everything worked well for College Park while accomplishing an NBA G League first. They were determined to get the win with a lot of hustle plays, defensive stops in the fourth quarter, and 26 fast break points.

 

Justin Tillman and Langston Galloway combined for 53 points. Tillman led the team with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Galloway added 26 points, five assists, and four rebounds. Galloway scored 16 points in the fourth quarter. A.J. Lawson added 16 points.

The Skyhawks had efficient production off the bench. The bench contributed 49 points. Cat Barber scored 14 points and dished nine assists, while Marcus Georges- Hunt chipped in nine rebounds, five assists, three steals, and two blocks.

 

The Skyhawks got a comfortable lead in the stretch to secure the win and end the Bull’s three-game winning streak.

 

The Skyhawks wrap up their two-game series with the Windy City Bulls at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois at 4 p.m. ET. pm Sunday.
