After falling to the Swamp Rabbits 5-2 on Monday, the Gladiators returned to home ice for their sixth game of the season, to face the Cincinnati Cyclones on Friday at Gas South Arena.

Cincinnati’s Wyatt Ege, scored the opening goal, and one minute later Glads Tyler Kobryn landed his 1st goal of the season assisted by Tim Davison, and Derek Topatigh.

At the buzzer Gabe Guertler hit the back of the net, assisted by Michael Turner, Tyler Kobryn. After one period of Play the Glads was up 2-1.

Glads Coby Sylvester scored his sixth goal of the season , assisted by Luke Nogard, and Derek Topatigh to put Atlanta up 3-1 in the second.

Early in the second period the Cyclones had an opportunity to to tie the game during a power play but an incredible block from Glads Goalie Tyler Parks prevented Cincinnati from tying the score. Parks stopped 28 of 29 Cyclones shots.

In the end the Cyclones (6-5-0-0) fail to score anymore goals and the Gladiators (6-2-0-0) skated away with a 3-1 victory. The win over Cincinnati marked the final game of a four-game homestand in which Atlanta has gone 2-1-0-0 so far.

In a back to back matchup, the Gladiators will return to home ice on Saurday November 20., to host the Cyclones again. Puck drops at 7:30.
