Nogard and Roy Called Up to Belleville
After Hugo Ray netted a pair of goals in the Glads 5-4 win over Orlando on Oct. 29., the Atlanta Gladiators (2-1-0-0) defeated the Jacksonville Icemen to extend their winning streak on Friday on at Gas South Arena.

In the first period Cody Sylvester scored a powerplay goal from Cody Sylvester assisted by Derek Nesbit. This was Cody first goal of the season.
The Glads stepped up defense in the second period and held the Icemen scoreless meanwhile Glads Hugo Hall tallied his 3rd goal of the season with a shorthanded goal assisted by Cody Sylvester and Tim Davison.
Atlanta continued to assault the net as the Icemen struggled during the third period. Derek Nesbit added a goal assisted by Tim Davidson and Derek Topatigh. In the end, Jacksonville could not generate enough offense in the third period to mount a comeback eventually falling to Atlanta. Davison pitched in 3 assists, and the Glads outshot the Icemen in 36-17 and advanced to 2-1-0 on the season.
On Saturday Atlanta Gladiators Team President Jerry James and Head Coach Jeff Pyle have announced that the team has signed forward Eric Neiley to a Standard Player Contract. The team also announced that forwards Luke Nogard and Hugo Roy have been recalled to the Belleville Senators in the American Hockey League.
