The Atlanta Flacons announced today that cornerback A.J. Terrell on the Reserve/Covid-19 list and have elevated linebacker Edmond Robinson from the practice squad to the active roster as a Covid replacement.
The Falcons selected Terrell, out of Clemson the 16th overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft, started the first two games of the season.
The NFL are not permitted to comment on a player’s medical status other than referring to roster status and may not disclose whether the player is in quarantine or is positive for COVID-19.
This is a major hit to Atlanta’s defense. The Falcons now (0-2) will face the Chicago Bears (2-0) Sunday at 1:00 PM, Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
