Atlanta United returned to action Saturday night against Nashville SC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the club’s first match in the continuation of the MLS Regular Season schedule without fans.

The last time Atlanta played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium was March 7, a 2-1 win against FC Cincinnati, as Barco and Hyndman each scored their second goals of the season.
In the 40th minute Pity Martinez scored his first goal of the night.

Later in the half Martinez scored a second goal to help Atlanta United defeat Nashville SC 2-0.

The Argentine now has seven career regular season goals for Atlanta United. Martinez had a team-high 32 passes attempted in the opponents half. Franco Escobar and Martinez each had a team-high seven recoveries.
Brad Guzan recorded his 37th clean sheet for Atlanta United, first of 2020 season.
Atlanta United (3-3-0, 9 points) returns to action Wednesday, Aug. 26 at Inter Miami FC (8:00 p.m., FOX Sports South, Sports Radio 92-9 The Game), the first time they’ll face the expansion team. Atlanta returns home to Mercedes-Benz Stadium Saturday, Aug. 29 against Orlando City SC at 3:30 p.m.
