It was a rainy day in Atlanta, but that didn’t stop the Hawks, Goodr and State Farm, in partnership with Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation, from hosting a pop-up grocery store at Lucky Shoals Park on Friday.
Families and senior citizens in Gwinnett County was provided with access to free food through the pop-up grocery store.
Families also had access to fresh meat, produce, and shelf-stable items.
This is the eighth pop-up store Atlanta Hawks, Goodr, and State Farm, hosted for families. To date, this program has provided more than 3,500 Metro Atlanta families with the equivalent of two weeks’ worth of groceries.
