College Park Skyhawks four-game winning streak snapped by the Grand Rapids Drive at home Wednesday night.
It was a tale of two halves. The 1st half the Skyhawks led Grand Rapids. It was the 2nd half that things became blurry.
Grand Rapids took a 83-74 lead into the final quarter. The team consistently struggled with missed opportunities.
In the end the Skyhawks was unable to recover, and Grand Rapids walked away with a 101-96 win.

Nick Ward led the Skyhawks in scoring a double-double with 22 points and 18 rebounds.
Jordan Sibert gathered 18 points. Charlie Brown, Jr. collected 16 points. Armoni Brooks added 9 points to round off the scoring efforts.
At the post game presser coach Noel Gillespie spoke on, “what he said to the team after the game.”

Next Up: The Skyhawks now (15-11) are headed on the road to take on the Capital City Go Go on on Jan. 17, before returning home to face the Maine Red Claws on Sunday, Jan. 19. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Gateway Center Arena.
