After dropping a 5-1 contest to the South Carolina Stingrays on Tuesday, Atlanta beat the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on Thursday night 3-1. The Glads are currently 5-1 over the Greenville so far this year.
Fast-forward to Flashback Friday, the Glads faced the Jacksonville Icemen.

In the opening minutes of the 1st period Glads team captain Derek Nesbitt assisted by Eric Neiley doubled the lead. This was Nesbitt’s 6th goal of the season.

At 8:09 a power-play goal was scored by Icemen forward Pierre-Luc Mercier assisted by Emerson Clark and Dajon Mingo.

Mingo scored another goal for the Icemen at 1:05 tying the score 2-2.

The Glads was unable to stop Mercier, who scored his second power play goal for the night
At 13:19 the Icemen strikes again with Craig Martin scoring another goal.

In the final period Eric Neiley scored a goal putting the score 3-5. Neiley tied Asselin and Marchin for the team lead in goals with his 12th of the year.

Mercier scored a hat trick making it his third goal of the night.

The offense definitely hit Atlanta throughout the night. In the final period with seconds remaining on the clock Jacksonville Jake Flegel scored the 7th and final goal sealing the Glads fate.
