The Nets continuously knocked down the Hawks defensively which ultimately led to the 118-130 defeat. Missing 11 games due to a shoulder injury Kevin Huerter returned to the paint and missed the only two shots he shot. Although his presence did not make a major impact on the game, having him back is greatly needed for the upcoming games.
Trae Young led the team in scoring 39 points, gathering 10 assists, and 3 rebounds. It is Young’s 11th 30-point game of the season and his fifth 30-point, 10- assist game this season. Young now has 12 career games of 30-or-more points and 10-or-more assists, the most by any player in NBA history before turning 22 years old.

“It’s a dream come true, of course. I finally got my rhythm back a little bit. All the glory to God. I’ve put the work in. Stay humble, stay grounded and keep pushing.” Reddish said about his performance.
“It’s a tough team to defend. said coach Pierce. “With Spencer Dinwiddie and the pick-and-rolls and his ability to get downhill, we had no answer for that.”
