According to sources, The NFL has sent a memo to all 32 teams inviting them to a private workout session for free agent Colin Kaepernick at the Atlanta Falcons’ training facility in Flowery Branch, Ga on Saturday, Nov. 16.
On Tuesday Kaepernick tweeted, “I’m just getting word from my representatives that the NFL league office reached out to them about a workout in Atlanta on Saturday. I’ve been in shape and ready for this for 3 years, can’t wait to see the head coaches and GMs on Saturday.”

Also posted on Twitter, Kaepernick’s biggest supporter Carolina Panthers Eric Reid said, “Kaepernick is ready.” Reid also stated, “It feels like a PR stunt.”

The league has declined comments and it’s unknown which teams will attend. The session will be closed to the public and members of the media.
This is one of the more promising opportunities for Kaepernick to rejoin the NFL and get back on the field.
