Head Coach Noel Gillespie returns for his second year with the franchise and his first in College Park. He has nearly two decades of professional basketball experience, including head coach of the Greensboro Swarm, NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets.

Gillespie is joined by two former NBA players.
Do you remember Calbert Chaney? He starred as a player for the Indiana Hoosiers from 1989-93 under coach Bob Knight. Chaney has been hired as the assistant coach.
It gets better. Shelden Williams is also an assistant coach. Williams is no stranger to Atlanta. He was selected by the Hawks with the fifth pick in the 2006 NBA Draft.
The coaching staff also includes Mfon Udofia and Therian Williams.
The Skyhawks opening night is November 21st.
