The GSU Panthers have a Homecoming celebration in store for them after beating the Arkansas State, Red Wolves 52-38 at Pete Petit Field in Atlanta.

Led by head coach Shawn Elliott, and senior quarterback Dan Ellington, the Panthers rush for 340 yards while Ellington pass for a career-high of 382. This marks the first time that the Panthers have won against the Arkansas State Red wolves as well as winning at home for a homecoming game. When asked about the team strategy? Shawn Elliott said, “I just took what they gave me and made it work.”
Made it work is what they did, because the Panthers really put it in with the offensive and defensive side forcing two separate interceptions and two different sacks.
The next time the Panthers play is on October 12th against Coastal Carolina at Coastal Carolina. For all the updates for GSU and Atlanta Sports hit the follow button at Chicks Into Sports.
