The Orlando Apollos defeated the Atlanta Legends 36-6 at Georgia State Stadium on Saturday in front of 11,416 fans.

After the half the Legends energy level dropped substantially as they struggled with missed opportunities to score touchdowns, to put the team back in the game. In the end the Apollos walked away with their sixth game win and clinched a playoff berth.
In the post game press conference, here’s what Legends head coach Kevin Coyle said about the loss, “I’m disappointed in the outcome of most of the games we had.”

The Atlanta Legends now (2-5) are on the road to face the Birmingham Iron (4-3) on Sunday, March 31, at 4 p.m. ET at Legion Field.

If the Legends lose to the Iron the team will be eliminated from playoff contention.
The Legends will play one final home game against Salt Lake Stallions at Georgia State Stadium on Sunday April 7.
