Hawks soar high above Jazz; 117-114 win

Atlanta Hawks cracked their three-game losing streak and captured a 117-114 win over the Utah Jazz on Thursday at State Farm Arena.

Trae Young gathered another double-double by leading the the team in scoring  23 points and 11 assists.

Young has secured another monumental career moment on Thursday by seizing his 25th double-double of the season. He has 14 20 points , 10 -assist contests this season (most for any Hawks player in a single season). Young has now passed Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas and Allen Iverson, moving into 16th on the NBA’s all-time rookie assist leaderboard (572).

Including Trae Young, there was six Hawks players who scored double digits. Dewayne Dedmon shined bright like a diamond and added 18 PTS, 9 REB, Kevin Huerter stacked 14 PTS, 2 AST, 1 REB, Taurean Prince accumulated 13 PTS, 3 REB, Kent Bazemore garnered 12 PTS, 2 REB, and Alex Len picked up 12 PTS, 6 REB2 AST.

Hawks now(25-48) are ready to battle and seeking to claim a back to back win when they face the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday at State Farm Arena. Tip-off starts at 7:30.
