Legends Dominated by Commanders at Home

In the first quarter the San Antonio Commanders Kenneth Farrow scored the 1st touch down.

Commanders Zach Sanchez got the first interception of the game. 

At the end of the 1st quarter, the Legends remained scoreless while the Commanders took the lead 6-0.

In the 2nd quarter, the struggle became surreal for the Legends. Devonte Bosley provided a interception for the Commanders.

Mekale McKay provided a throw and a catch touchdown.

Commanders quarterback Evan Rodriguez scored a 33-yard touchdown.

Late in the 2nd quarter, the Legends finally put points on the board when Tarean Folston delivered a 1-yd TD on 4th down. 

Shortly after there was a punt return for a TD, by Commanders Greg Ward.

Early in the 3rd quarter, Nick Rose landed the first field goal of the game.

Derron Smith scored a 88 yard touchdown.

In the end, the Atlanta Legends fell hard to the Commanders 6-37.

Legends head coach Kevin Coyle said. “There were a lot of areas that we just didn’t perform the way we wanted to do. It starts with me. I got to do a better job with preparing the team.”

Atlanta Legends will face the Orlando Apollos at Georgia State Stadium on Sunday 2 p.m. ET.
