Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks decrowns Lebron James, Lakers in home win

It was a magical night in Atlanta

The Hawks miraculously snapped their three-game losing streak on Tuesday against Lebron and the Lakers.

Despite the crowd chanting “Kobe’s better” and having his fifth triple-double of the year Lebron James, scored 28 points, 16 assists and 11 rebounds. The Hawks gained home court advantage when Trae Young led the team in defeating Lakers 117-113.

Trae Young, and John Collins each scored 22 points.

“It was fun for me. I’m glad we got the win. The atmosphere was great, it was a lot of Lakers fans,” Young said.  About the match-up against James and the Lakers.”

Next, the Hawks will match-up against the New York Knicks Thursday , on St. Valentines Day at State Farm Arena. Tip-off starts at 7:30 pm.

This is the final game before heading into the All-Star break. 

The Hawks will not play again until Feb. 22, when the team face the Detroit Pistons at home.
