On yesterday in a heart pounding battle, Georgia faced off against Texas University in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl.
Before the game it was as if the writing was on the wall when Bevo the
University of Texas at Austin Longhorns’ enormous white and brown mascot wildly knocked over the barricade and violently charged towards Georgia’s beloved mascot Uga.
In yet another disappointing upset the No. 15 Texas trampled the No. 5 UGA, winning the Sugar Bowl 28-21.
After the game Texas QB Sam Ehlinger had an emotional moment with his mother. Ehlinger gave his MVP trophy to his mother.
Moving on to Pasadena, California to the 2019 Rose Bowl. Big Ten champion Ohio State Buckeyes matched up against the Pac-12 champion Washington Huskies.
No. 6 Ohio State beat No. 9 Washington 28-23, winning the 8th Rose Bowl in Ohio history.
This was head coach Urban Meyer’s final game with the Huskies, he announced his retirement before the game.
After the game, Myers gave his final press conference and reflected upon his seven-year run as the coach of the Buckeyes.
