The Atlanta Hawks matched-up against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night at McCamish Pavillion.
At the 1st , the Atlanta Hawks tied the score with the Pelicans 30-30.

In the 2nd, with 2:44 minutes left on the clock the Hawks trailed behind the Pelicans 47-49.
John Collins shot 2 pts at 2:09 bringing the score to 49-50, but struggling to hold off the Pelicans. At the end of 2nd quarter the Hawks trailed the Pelicans 51-57.

By the end of the 3rd, the Hawks seize control of the game and coughed up a 88-71 lead .

In the end, the Hawks secured a 116-102 W, with new head coach Lloyd Pierce’s preseason coaching opener. DeAndre Bembry scored 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Followed by John Collins with 18 points .
