ATLANTA – The Atlanta Dream have signed guard Maggie Lucas to a training camp contract the team announced Tuesday.
“While Maggie has had a string of bad luck with ACL’s, I can say with certainty no one attacks rehab harder than she does,” Collen said. “My hope for Maggie is that she enters training camp ready to compete at her pre-injury level.”
Lucas played 64 games over three seasons for the Indiana Fever before tearing her ACL four games in to the 2016 season. Due to the injury, Lucas missed the remainder of the 2016 season and the entire 2017 WNBA season. She has career averages of 4.9 points and has shot 33.5% from the three-point line.
