The West defeated the East in the WNBA Allstar game this weekend??

 

The 2017 WNBA Verizon Allstar Game went down Saturday in Seattle Washington at the KeyArena.

Minnesota Lynx’s Maya Moore started the first quarter with an amazing 9 points.

Los Angeles, Sparks  Nnemkadi Ogwumike help the West extend their lead in the First quarter with a powerful 2 point shoot.

Seattle Storm’s Sue Bird helped lead the West to victory 130-121 against the East with her single game record of 11 assists

Maya Moore added 23 points and captured her second Allstar Game MVP award.

The legends were out to show their supports. Hall of Famer Bill Russell was in the building!

Also, Former Atlanta Hawks Coach, Hall of famer and 9x’s NBA Allstar Lenny Wilkens was there showing his support.

Although, the Atlanta Dream’s Layshia Clarendon,  Tiffany Hayes and Elizabeth Williams didn’t defeat the West. They played phenomenal.

Layshia Clarendon capturing 14 points, and 10 assists. Tiffany Hayes seized 12 points, and 5 rebounds. Elizabeth Williams ran away with 8 points and 7 rebounds.

We are still proud of our Atlanta Dream home team and we are still running with the Dream!

The Atlanta Dream will be back in action and will matchup against the Phoenix Mercury tomorrow July 25, 2017, at 7:00 pm est at McCarmish Pavilion.
