The 2019 WNBA Finals will continue tomorrow. The series will head back to Connecticut for a crucial Game 3 at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

The Connecticut Sun defeated the Washington Mystics in Game 2 to even up the series at 1-1.

Tuesday night, the 2019 WNBA MVP, Elena Delle Donne left the game after 3 minutes due to back spasms.
Last year the Mystics played Game 3 of the semifinals without Donne, who suffered a knee injury in Game 2.
Emma Messeman leads Washington in scoring, during playoffs at 19.8 points per game. However, Donne’s presence on the court is significant. According to ESPN, Donne is averaging 17.8 points per game and 6.4 rebounds for the playoffs.

While many favor the Washington Mystics who are back in the Finals for the second straight season, Connecticut has something to prove.
The Sun are back in the Finals for the first time since 2005. After sweeping the Los Angeles Sparks 3-0,  they’re playing for a chance to win their first title in franchise history.
The Sun’s, Jonqel Jones took over Game 2 and made WNBA Finals history. She became the first player in league history to record a 30-15 game. We haven’t seen these numbers since LeBron James did it in the 2016 NBA Finals.

Who will take the lead of the series? Tune into Game 3 on ABC, 3:30 p.m. ET Sunday to find out!
