Hawks failed to soar pass Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics

On Saturday, what seemed to be a promising win quickly ended in a devastating loss at home with Boston slamming the Hawks 105-113.

From the first quarter to the third quarter the Hawks maintained the lead.


Kevin Huerter added 13 points, first half.

At the end of the third, Boston trailed the Hawks by six points.

Close to the end of the fourth quarter, the Hawks slowed up the pace and was unable to hold off Boston.

Kevin Huerter led the team in scoring with 18(pts)7(a), Trae Young collected 16(pts)7(a), John Collins and Alex Len both had 15(pts).

Atlanta Hawks now (14-31) will face the Orlando Magic today on MLK Day at State Farm Arena. Tip-off starts at 3:00 PM EST.
