Another Loss for Atlanta Hawks

After being stung by the Hornets in a devastating loss on Tuesday, Atlanta hoped to redeem a win when they faced the New York Knicks on Wednesday at State Farm Arena.

By the end of first quarter the Atlanta Hawks played with high energy and tied the score. In a abysmal second quarter the Hawks lead by 3 points. By the end of the third the Knicks regained the lead and all chances of Hawks capturing a victory was preposterous.  In the end the Atlanta Hawks was unable to regain the lead and loss at the hands of the New York Knicks 112-107.

Although this wasn’t the ending the Hawks desired.  There was a few highlights.

Early in the first Alex Len made flight for an impressive slam dunk.

Omari Spellman denies Emmanuel Mudiay’s access to the rim and Bazemore hands it off to Spellman for the dunk.

Fresh in the second quarter Jeremy Lin hit a 3 pointer.

Close to the end of third quarter Trae Young hit a amazing long 3-pointer.

In the middle of the fourth quarter Miles Plumlee throws down a reverse dunk.

After Taurean Prince missed a 3 pointer,  Miles Plumlee takes flight for a put back slam dunk.

Omari Spellman lead the game with 18 points, 10 rebounds, Kent Bazemore 16 points, 7 rebounds, Taurean Prince 16 points, and Trae Young with 15 points.

The Atlanta Hawks are now (3-8). Next the Hawks will matchup against the Detroit Piston on Friday November 9, 2018, 7:30 pm at State Farm Arena.
