Game 3-WNBA Semifinals: Dream Travels to Washington

WASHINGTON– The Atlanta Dream will travel to Washington, D.C. for Game 3 of the 2018 WNBA Semifinals Friday to face the Mystics inside Charles E. Smith Center on George Washington’s campus beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcasted live on ESPNews and NBA TV with Pam Ward, Kara Lawson and LaChina Robinson on the call.
 
The second-seeded Dream (1-1) return to action after tying the series with a 78-75 victory over the Mystics (1-1)  Tuesday evening. Alex Bentley came off the bench to lead Atlanta in scoring with 22 points. Jessica Breland recorded a franchise-best seven blocks and botched a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. 
 
Mystics Forward Elena Delle Donne finished with 27 points and 14 rebounds before leaving late in the fourth quarter due to a knee injury.
 
Atlanta is now 5-2 all-time against Washington and 3-2 at home in the playoffs.
 
The series will continue in Washington, D.C. for Game 4 Sunday (time TBD). The game will be played at the Charles E. Smith Center on George Washington’s campus.
